Abby Wambach does it again!
Monchengladbach, Germany– The US Women’s World Cup soccer team has reached the finals! With a 3-1 win over France, Abby Wambach was again the all-star performer to seal the match.
Wambach’s strikes as well as her final header in the 79th minute of the game gave the women a 2-1 lead against France. They would go on o win 3-1. Just as we predicted here!
No team has ever lost a group stage match in the Women’s World Cup (as the US team has) and gone on to win the tournament. But the Wambach and her US teammates will have that opportunity.
They will play either Japan or Sweden, depending on who wins that semi-final matchup at 2:45 PM on ESPN.
