Bold Athletes: Mixing it up with the Fighters of Cage Candy

Jul 15, 2011 by

Over the coming weeks, we’ve got a great number of articles coming up for you about Women’s Mixed Martial Arts. Women’s MMA is a growing sport that is really taking off! Recently, we hooked up with our friend Tracy Tate who owns Cage Candy, a Women’s MMA Apparel Brand that celebrates the FIGHTING spirit of women as well as sponsoring professional and amateur female mma fighters. One example, Miesha Tate (no relation, by the way. Just two awesome Tates!), former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion and current Freestyle Cage Fighting Women’s Bantamweight Champion, is fighting Marloes Coenen for the Strikeforce Women’s Welterweight Championship on July 30th!

These women are really bold! Do you want to learn more about them? Head on over to or feel free to contact us with any questions you have!

Are you a female athlete with a story to tell? E-mail us and be bold!

As usual, click on any picture in the gallery to start the slideshow. Happy Friday! Be bold!
