Happy Monday, Bold Babes! Our Official Bold Babe contest is still happening and we’re excited to see what our contestants have to say about their OTHER contestants, this week! But, a lot of folks keep asking, “Hey what does it take to be an “Official Bold Babe?” Some folks think:
- I need to be a model
- I need to be traditionally beautiful
- I need to have a huge social media following
- Etc.

Well, that’s simply not true! Our Official Bold Babes are actually way more than pretty faces! And, not all of them are fancy shmancy models (though, some are fancy… and shmancy!)
Today, we’d like to introduce to you to our “Official Bold Babe,” Shelbi Vaughn!
Shelbi Vaughan is an american track and field athlete. Her competition: the discuss! Is she fancy schmancy? Well we like to think so! But as beautiful as she is, Vaughan isn’t a model! Though she has been in some Dia and Co. ads and is currently sponsored by Day/Won Activewear! She’s also blogged for Dia! Hey, Shelbi, think you may want to blog for us? The wheels are spinning!
Shelbi Vaughan competed at the Athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women’s discus throw and threw 53.33 m (174 ft 11 1⁄2 in) to place 29th. Vaughan competed at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing narrowly missing the final. She was also won bronze medals at the 2012 World Junior Championships and the 2011 World Youth Championships.
