Miami Curve Fest hits the West Coast
On September 1, 2019 (Labor Day Weekend) amidst Hurricane Dorian warnings, the super brave humans who run Miami Curve Fest kept their heads held high and ran an amazing event.
The Coachella style event hosted well over 100 people and our very own Candice Christian was there to cover it all!
Well, it seems that the Miami Curve folks are going to crush it in another city! They are hosting another event in Los Angeles in 2020 and we can’t wait to go!

Curve Fest has now become a global movement with attendees from Toronto, Bermuda, London, Korea and Kenya.
Curve Fest aka Curvychella is an event that is playing a monumental role in the movement towards the arts, Plus Size empowerment, body acceptance and fat shaming. The inspiration for this event comes from a club culture in Miami that has for years excluded Plus Size Women. We have been made to stand outside of clubs for hours only to be told “No Fatties Allowed”. The very first Curve Fest weekend was a success, which hosted 4 successful events. This signified the first step towards expounding on the Founder & Curator of Curve Fests mission of “Making a Statement” to prove that Plus size Dollars Matter, Plus Size women are Beautiful & to create space for Plus Size Women in the Event/Festival Industry that is inclusive and accepting of all sizes!
The Curvychella Experience is unlike any other Plus Size event in the world. The event provides a street parade, Carnival themed, artists, entertainers, and speakers to entertain, educate and empower the Curvychella audience. Along with several events that support the movement, informing, motivating, entertaining and inspiring our attendees.
