All-Female Lineup Closeout Las Vegas’s Year Long Comedy Run at LA Comedy Club, inside “The Strat”
What do 10 comedians from all over the country have in common? They were all the final performers of Jozalyn Sharps’s last “Filth Factory” show, a monthly Saturday night show that featured some really raunchy comedy from a wide range of popular comedians. Prior to the show, the teaser video displays them (and others) proclaiming their “filth.”
Well, this one particular show was unique for a few reasons:
- This was the final show until further notice
- It was also the one-year anniversary “Megashow”
- It was an all female lineup
- Jozalyn Sharpe chose not to host and asked fellow performer Cece Sample to host, leaving her to perform as the closer

We caught up with some of the comedians, like Blackwell, after the show. When we asked why they didn’t advertise that it was an all-female lineup…. her response?
“Well… because it doesn’t matter… It’s a comedy show… We are comics.”

So true! The show was conceptualized over a year ago. They are one of the few comedy shows in Las Vegas which does not charge a cover. And they did that so lots of folks can enjoy the show, the drinks, and the atmosphere. If they come back for a run, get the $25 all you can drink package! It’s a great deal!
We’re excited to catch up with Blackwell, Sharp, and the rest of the incredible comics who closed out this show. We laughed all night at them. We hope they’ll laugh with us on our podcast and magazine!
