There’s a great new .org out there that you may not have heard of. Joining the ranks of “Plus Size Reviews” and “Can We All Go” is the Plus Size Certified group!
The Plus Size Certified™ Program is a certification awarded to a business, building, professional service, or similar entity that wishes to support the physical and psychological well-being of plus size individuals. The Program is based on standards created by Plus Size Certified, Inc., through a consolidation of medical, government and health research data.
The group is founded by Michael R. Mantell PhD and Jim King, MD. You may remember King from his company “The Resort.”
From making adaptable changes to a physical environment’s fixtures and fittings, to anti-stigma and anti-bias training, our experts at Plus Size Certified™ will help ensure that your business becomes and maintains a safe haven for every individual of any size.
